Terms of service
These terms explain how orders, payments and equipment purchases work at Gym Machines. Please read them together with our delivery, returns and privacy policies before ordering.

Gym Machines supplies home, studio and commercial fitness equipment through gymmachines.co.za. Our business contact address is 134 Kempston Road, Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, 6020, South Africa.

Placing an order
Check the product, quantity, specification and delivery details before submitting an order. You must be legally able to enter into the purchase, or have the necessary permission, and have authority to use the payment account you provide.
An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your request. Acceptance follows cleared payment and our dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil the order, we will contact you and refund any payment for goods we cannot supply. These steps do not limit rights that arise earlier under applicable law.
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. If it has already been dispatched, the relevant cancellation and return provisions in our Returns & Refund Policy apply.
Prices and quotations
Website prices are in South African rand (ZAR). The checkout or agreed written quotation sets out your order total and any applicable tax. Free standard delivery applies within South Africa. Optional services must be agreed separately before you are charged.
Prices may change for future purchases. We do not simply increase the price of an accepted order. If we identify a material pricing or listing error before acceptance, we will explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on corrected terms or cancel for a full refund, subject to applicable law. A quotation is valid for the period stated on that quotation.
Payment by bank transfer
Our payment methods are EFT, cross-border transfer and wire transfer. Follow the bank details and reference provided with your order or invoice. Goods are dispatched after full payment has cleared and stock is confirmed.
Your bank may charge transfer or currency-conversion fees, particularly for international transfers. Confirm these with your bank before paying. Contact us if you need help matching a transfer to an order.
We will never ask for your online-banking password, PIN or one-time password. If a message asks you to pay into changed bank details, verify it by calling our published landline before sending money.
Availability and substitutions
Stock can change between ordering and fulfilment. If an item is unavailable or its lead time changes, we will offer the available options, which may include waiting, selecting another item or receiving a refund. We will not substitute a different brand or model without your agreement.
Product details and suitability
Read the listing for the model, dimensions, weight, power requirements, included accessories and intended home or commercial use. Lifestyle photographs may show other equipment that is not part of the purchase; the listed contents identify what is included.
Ask us before ordering if you need help checking space, access or compatibility. If delivered goods differ materially from their description, contact us so we can resolve it under the applicable return and consumer-protection rules. Product photographs do not override the specification agreed for your purchase.
Delivery, assembly and safe use
Our Shipping & Delivery Policy explains free delivery, estimated transit times, access and heavy freight. Assembly, installation and specialist lifting are not included unless stated in the listing or agreed quotation.
Follow the manufacturer's assembly, anchoring, inspection and maintenance instructions. Use equipment only for its intended purpose and within its stated load and user limits. Check that the floor, available space and any electrical supply are suitable. Stop using equipment if it appears damaged or unsafe and contact us.
Returns and warranties
We offer a 30-day voluntary return window for eligible items from delivery, as explained in our Returns & Refund Policy. That policy also explains statutory cancellations, faulty goods, return transport and refunds.
Additional manufacturer warranties vary by brand and model. Only confirmed product-specific warranty terms apply; we do not promise one uniform warranty across the store. Contact us for support with a fault or warranty claim. Manufacturer cover does not replace our responsibilities as the retailer.
Your legal protections
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where applicable. We do not exclude responsibility for fraud, gross negligence or other liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.
Website use and privacy
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit fraudulent orders or infringe another person's rights. Gym Machines and third-party brand owners retain their respective rights in logos, photographs and other protected content. Shopping here does not grant permission to reproduce that material commercially.
Our Privacy Policy explains the personal information used for enquiries, orders, delivery and website operation. Links to independent websites are governed by those providers' own terms and privacy notices.
Questions, disputes and updates
Send a complaint to info@gymmachines.co.za with your order number and the outcome you are seeking. We aim to acknowledge enquiries within one business day and will explain any further investigation needed. You retain the right to approach a competent regulator, dispute-resolution body or court.
South African law governs these terms, without excluding any mandatory protection that applies to your transaction. Updates apply prospectively; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
