Collection: LivePro Functional Training Equipment
LivePro is the functional training and accessories line in our South African range — the smaller, high-turnover equipment that fills out a studio floor or a home training corner rather than the heavy machines standing against the wall. It is the kit that gets used in every class, replaced most often, and usually bought in multiples.
What the LivePro range covers
The functional side covers resistance bands, battle ropes, exercise mats, kettlebells, medicine and exercise balls and power bags. On the loaded side, LivePro supplies dumbbells, weight plates and barbells, along with functional trainers and the storage racks that keep a class floor usable between sessions.
LivePro also appears in our HIIT range, which is where most of this equipment ends up in practice — circuit stations, class formats and conditioning blocks rather than straight strength work.
Who LivePro equipment suits
LivePro is built for studios running group classes, personal trainers working out of shared or mobile setups, functional training floors, rehabilitation and physiotherapy practices, and home gyms where the training is conditioning-led rather than barbell-led.
Most of the range is priced for buying in multiples, which is what class settings actually need — eight mats and eight sets of bands, not one of each. If you are equipping a class floor, tell us the class size and we will quote the set rather than the item.
How to choose functional training equipment
With resistance bands, the two things that matter are the material and the progression. Latex tubing and fabric loop bands behave differently and suit different exercises; more importantly, buy a set that progresses in usable steps rather than two bands at opposite ends of the range. Bands are consumables — plan to replace them.
With kettlebells, decide between vinyl-coated and competition spec before comparing prices. Vinyl is cheaper and fine for general conditioning and studio use. Competition kettlebells keep the same handle diameter and external dimensions across every weight, which matters if members are learning technique and progressing through weights, and it is worth the premium in a teaching environment.
With mats, thickness is a trade-off rather than a better-is-better number. Thicker mats are more comfortable for floor work and rehabilitation; thinner mats are more stable for standing work and balance drills. If the same mats serve both, go middle and accept the compromise.
With battle ropes, anchor point and length decide everything. Confirm you have a solid anchor and a clear run at the length you are buying — a rope that is too long for the space simply does not work.
Storage matters more than people expect. Loose equipment on a studio floor is both a hazard and a space cost, and the racks are always cheaper than the injury or the replacement.
Common questions
How many sets should I buy for a class? Match your class cap and add one spare of each item. Bands and ropes fail without warning mid-session, and a missing set means a member stands watching. Tell us the class size and we will quote the full set.
Vinyl or competition kettlebells for a studio? Vinyl for general conditioning classes where members swing and carry. Competition spec where technique is coached and members progress through weights, because the handle and dimensions stay constant as the load changes.
How often does this kit need replacing? Bands, ropes and mats are consumables on a busy floor — budget for them annually rather than treating replacement as a fault. Kettlebells, plates and bars last years if they are racked rather than left on the floor.
LivePro prices and delivery in South Africa
LivePro prices are quoted in rand and delivery is included on every order across South Africa. Because most of this range is small and light, multi-item orders ship together without the access complications that come with machines — if you are ordering a full class set, tell us and we will make sure it arrives as one consignment.
Related ranges: UFC and weight bags for striking and conditioning, gym flooring for the surface underneath a class floor, Force Fitness for the studio machines that sit alongside this kit, and the full accessories range for every brand we stock.
