6kg UBench Rubber Encased Kettlebell

Choosing benches comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The 6kg UBench Rubber Encased Kettlebell is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

What you are getting is a bench designed to be used properly and often. It is listed with 6kg and rubber construction.

Who this is for

This one suits commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use, and garage gyms building around a rack. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Installation and space

Allow space to move the bench in and out if it is shared between a rack and a dumbbell area.

What to consider

Pad width and firmness matter more than they sound. Too soft and you lose stability under load; too narrow and shoulder position suffers on heavy presses.

We stock 41 benches between R160 and R9 638; this one is in the middle at R401.

Check the fixings periodically. Adjustable benches work loose over time and a few minutes with a spanner keeps everything solid.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Every order ships free anywhere in South Africa. For heavier pieces we confirm access and offloading before dispatch — worth flagging stairs or tight corners at the time of order rather than on the day.
