Active Chest And Lat Pulldown

Choosing cable machines comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The Active Chest And Lat Pulldown, from Active, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

What you are getting is a cable machine designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Who this is for

This one suits home gyms replacing several single-purpose machines, and studios wanting range without filling the floor. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Installation and space

Plan where it will live before it arrives — moving equipment after the fact is harder than it sounds.

What to consider

Match the specification to how often it will actually be used. Home and commercial duty ratings are genuinely different things.

We stock 41 cable machines between R41 and R71 920; this one is in the middle at R24 896.

Wipe surfaces down after use — sweat is corrosive and is what shortens the life of most gym equipment.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

The specifics

• Brand: Active
• Category: Cable Machines
• SKU: V28
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Attachments, Cable Machines and Functional Trainers are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Active Chest And Lat Pulldown checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
