Active Eight Stack Multigym

The Active Eight Stack Multigym is one of the cable machines options we supply to gyms and home setups across South Africa, made by Active. Here is what it does and who it suits.

In plain terms, this is a cable machine intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Best suited to

Think studios wanting range without filling the floor, and varied resistance work in one footprint. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Fitting it into your space

Check the floor is level and suitable for the load, and leave working clearance around the equipment.

Points to weigh up

Check what is included in the box, and whether accessories are needed to get it working the way you want.

Priced at R152 303, it is the 30th of 30 cable machines we list (R23 236 to R152 303). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep it clean and check fixings periodically. Most equipment failures start as something loose rather than something broken.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Useful details

• Brand: Active
• Category: Multi Gyms & All-In-One Trainers
• SKU: LY-89
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Multi Gyms & All-In-One Trainers, Functional Trainers and Attachments are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Active Eight Stack Multigym checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
