Active Infinity Pec Fly

Every gym has a piece of kit that quietly does most of the work. For a lot of setups the Active Infinity Pec Fly is that piece, and Active built it for the job.

What you are getting is a strength machine designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

A good fit for

This one suits isolating a muscle group safely under load, and gyms training members who are new to free weights. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Setup notes

Plan the position with traffic flow in mind. Members should be able to reach the machine without crossing a lifting area.

Worth thinking about

Match the weight stack to who will use it. A stack that tops out too low limits stronger members; one that starts too high excludes beginners.

We stock 56 strength machines between R24 817 and R43 656; this one is towards the entry end at R24 817.

Upholstery and grips wear first on commercial floors. Both are usually replaceable without changing the machine.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Details worth knowing

• Brand: Active
• Category: Selectorised Machines
• SKU: T8 002
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

Browsing options? Strength, Selectorised Machines, Commercial Strength and Cable Machines are the categories most people compare this against.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Happy to help you compare the Active Infinity Pec Fly against the alternatives, or check it will go through your door. Just ask.
