Active Infinity Selectorised Lat Pulldown

Choosing cable machines comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The Active Infinity Selectorised Lat Pulldown, from Active, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

In plain terms, this is a cable machine intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Who this is for

Think studios wanting range without filling the floor, and varied resistance work in one footprint. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Installation and space

Check the floor is level and suitable for the load, and leave working clearance around the equipment.

What to consider

Check what is included in the box, and whether accessories are needed to get it working the way you want.

Priced at R24 817, it is the 19th of 41 cable machines we list (R41 to R71 920). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep it clean and check fixings periodically. Most equipment failures start as something loose rather than something broken.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Every order ships free anywhere in South Africa. For heavier pieces we confirm access and offloading before dispatch — worth flagging stairs or tight corners at the time of order rather than on the day.
