Active One Single Stack Multigym

If you are putting together a space that has to work every day rather than look good once, the Active One Single Stack Multigym is worth a close look. It comes from Active and forms part of our cable machines lineup.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a cable machine for people who train consistently. Where a measurement matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.

Who it suits

It works best for varied resistance work in one footprint, and home gyms replacing several single-purpose machines. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Getting it in place

Measure the space and the route in before ordering. Doorways, corners and stairs are what turn a straightforward delivery into a problem.

Before you decide

Think about who will use it and their size range. Adjustability decides how many people find it comfortable.

Against the other 30 cable machines we stock, this sits towards the entry end at R23 236 — the range runs R23 236 to R152 303, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

Store or cover it if the space is damp, particularly for anything with a steel frame.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Happy to help you compare the Active One Single Stack Multigym against the alternatives, or check it will go through your door. Just ask.
