Active Power V Squat Machine

Choosing gym equipment comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The Active Power V Squat Machine, from Active, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

What you are getting is a piece of gym equipment designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Who this is for

This one suits home gyms and commercial facilities across South Africa. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Installation and space

Plan where it will live before it arrives — moving equipment after the fact is harder than it sounds.

What to consider

Match the specification to how often it will actually be used. Home and commercial duty ratings are genuinely different things.

We stock 267 gym equipment between R401 and R163 098; this one is in the middle at R24 319.

Wipe surfaces down after use — sweat is corrosive and is what shortens the life of most gym equipment.

If you are still working out how this fits into a weekly routine, the NHS's exercise guidance is a good independent reference.

The specifics

• Brand: Active
• Category: Strength
• SKU: V12
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Accessories, Free Weights and Cardio are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Active Power V Squat Machine checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
