ANYFIT-Olmpic Decline Bench

If you are putting together a space that has to work every day rather than look good once, the ANYFIT-Olmpic Decline Bench is worth a close look. It comes from Anyfit and forms part of our benches lineup.

What you are getting is a bench designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Who it suits

This one suits commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use, and garage gyms building around a rack. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Getting it in place

Allow space to move the bench in and out if it is shared between a rack and a dumbbell area.

Before you decide

Pad width and firmness matter more than they sound. Too soft and you lose stability under load; too narrow and shoulder position suffers on heavy presses.

We stock 108 benches between R1 996 and R29 929; this one is in the middle at R16 915.

Check the fixings periodically. Adjustable benches work loose over time and a few minutes with a spanner keeps everything solid.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Key points

• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Benches, Accessories and Racks And Cages are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the ANYFIT-Olmpic Decline Bench checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
