Anyfit-Touch P & Rowing Bench

The Anyfit-Touch P & Rowing Bench is one of the rowing machines options we supply to gyms and home setups across South Africa, made by Anyfit. Here is what it does and who it suits.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a rowing machine for people who train consistently. Where a measurement matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.

Best suited to

It works best for full-body conditioning at home, and anyone wanting low-impact cardio that still works the whole body. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Fitting it into your space

Measure the full length with the rail extended, and check you can get behind the machine. Many rowers store upright, which changes the space calculation considerably.

Points to weigh up

Check the rail length against user height. Taller users need more travel than standard rails offer.

Against the other 57 rowing machines we stock, this sits at the upper end at R118 818 — the range runs R238 to R118 818, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

If storing upright, confirm the floor and wall can take it and that the machine locks in position.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Browsing options? Cardio, Rowing Machines, Strength and Exercise Bikes are the categories most people compare this against.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Happy to help you compare the Anyfit-Touch P & Rowing Bench against the alternatives, or check it will go through your door. Just ask.
