Elliptical Athletic Professional 3800EP

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Elliptical Athletic Professional 3800EP is built to do exactly that. It sits in our elliptical trainers range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

What you are getting is a elliptical trainer designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Ideal for

This one suits rehab and steady-state work, and home gyms wanting one machine to cover cardio. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Before you install it

Plan where it will live before it arrives — moving equipment after the fact is harder than it sounds.

Choosing the right one

Match the specification to how often it will actually be used. Home and commercial duty ratings are genuinely different things.

We stock 21 elliptical trainers between R4 214 and R118 818; this one is in the middle at R40 587.

Wipe surfaces down after use — sweat is corrosive and is what shortens the life of most gym equipment.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

At a glance

• Category: Ellipticals
• SKU: 3696
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

You will find related equipment under Cardio, Ellipticals, Treadmills and Gym Flooring — worth a look before deciding.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty elliptical trainers is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.

Delivery across South Africa is included on every order. Larger items are booked in rather than left at a door, so tell us about stairs, narrow passages or a restricted loading area when you order and we will arrange transport that suits the site.

Not certain the Elliptical Athletic Professional 3800EP is right for your space? Send us your room dimensions or a photo and we will tell you honestly whether it fits — including if something else in the range would serve you better.
