Gravity – Linear Leg Press

Every gym has a piece of kit that quietly does most of the work. For a lot of setups the Gravity – Linear Leg Press is that piece, and Gravity built it for the job.

What you are getting is a strength machine designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

A good fit for

This one suits isolating a muscle group safely under load, and gyms training members who are new to free weights. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Setup notes

Plan the position with traffic flow in mind. Members should be able to reach the machine without crossing a lifting area.

Worth thinking about

Match the weight stack to who will use it. A stack that tops out too low limits stronger members; one that starts too high excludes beginners.

We stock 60 strength machines between R12 665 and R71 920; this one is in the middle at R24 817.

Upholstery and grips wear first on commercial floors. Both are usually replaceable without changing the machine.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty strength machines is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.
