Gravity – Wide Chest Press

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Gravity – Wide Chest Press is built to do exactly that. Made by Gravity, it sits in our gym equipment range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

In plain terms, this is a piece of gym equipment intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Ideal for

Think home gyms and commercial facilities across South Africa. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Before you install it

Check the floor is level and suitable for the load, and leave working clearance around the equipment.

Choosing the right one

Check what is included in the box, and whether accessories are needed to get it working the way you want.

Priced at R22 327, it is the 55th of 267 gym equipment we list (R401 to R163 098). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep it clean and check fixings periodically. Most equipment failures start as something loose rather than something broken.

For the underlying evidence rather than a summary, the WHO guidelines on physical activity and sedentary behaviour sets out the current recommendations.

At a glance

• Brand: Gravity
• Category: Strength
• SKU: 4604
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Accessories, Free Weights and Cardio are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Gravity – Wide Chest Press checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
