Ab9 Air Bike - Pro

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Ab9 Air Bike - Pro is built to do exactly that. Made by Force Fitness, it sits in our exercise bikes range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

In plain terms, this is a exercise bike intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Ideal for

Think home riders training year round, and spin studios and group classes. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Before you install it

Check the floor. Bikes concentrate weight on four small feet, so a mat protects both the surface and the machine.

Choosing the right one

Look at the drive system — belt drives are quieter and need less maintenance than chains.

Priced at R19 601, it is the 26th of 44 exercise bikes we list (R689 to R47 740). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep the frame and flywheel wiped down. Sweat corrodes bolts and bearings faster than use does.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Every order ships free anywhere in South Africa. For heavier pieces we confirm access and offloading before dispatch — worth flagging stairs or tight corners at the time of order rather than on the day.
