Commercial Selectorized Dual Leg Extension & Leg Curl

Choosing strength machines comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The Commercial Selectorized Dual Leg Extension & Leg Curl, from Force Fitness, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

What you are getting is a strength machine designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Who this is for

This one suits isolating a muscle group safely under load, and gyms training members who are new to free weights. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Installation and space

Plan the position with traffic flow in mind. Members should be able to reach the machine without crossing a lifting area.

What to consider

Match the weight stack to who will use it. A stack that tops out too low limits stronger members; one that starts too high excludes beginners.

We stock 210 strength machines between R1 120 and R49 665; this one is in the middle at R28 361.

Upholstery and grips wear first on commercial floors. Both are usually replaceable without changing the machine.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.
