Monster Fleck Bumper Plates

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Monster Fleck Bumper Plates is built to do exactly that. Made by Force Fitness, it sits in our weight plates range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

In plain terms, this is a weight plate intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Ideal for

Think building out a lifting platform, and loading barbells, racks and plate-loaded machines. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Before you install it

Think about storage from the start. Plate trees keep a floor safe and make loading much faster.

Choosing the right one

Check plate thickness if you load heavy — thinner plates fit more weight on a bar.

Priced at R840, it is the 23rd of 57 weight plates we list (R108 to R8 514). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep plates off damp concrete. Cast iron rusts, and rubber degrades faster in direct sun.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Monster Fleck Bumper Plates checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
