Premium Astro Sprint Sled Track - Green

If you are putting together a space that has to work every day rather than look good once, the Premium Astro Sprint Sled Track - Green is worth a close look. It forms part of our racks lineup.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a rack for people who train consistently. Stated details include a green finish.

Who it suits

It works best for squatting and pressing safely without a spotter, and commercial floors running multiple lifters. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Getting it in place

Measure ceiling height before anything else. Racks and rigs need clearance for overhead pressing and pull-ups, and that is usually the binding constraint rather than floor space.

Before you decide

Think about attachments now rather than later. Whether a rack takes standard accessories decides how far it can grow with your training.

Against the other 23 racks we stock, this sits in the middle at R21 061 — the range runs R200 to R21 061, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

A platform or matting under the rack protects the floor and reduces noise considerably.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Happy to help you compare the Premium Astro Sprint Sled Track - Green against the alternatives, or check it will go through your door. Just ask.
