10kg Dumbbell Set - 1 Bar

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the 10kg Dumbbell Set - 1 Bar is built to do exactly that. Made by Tunturi, it sits in our dumbbells range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

In plain terms, this is a dumbbell set intended for regular use rather than occasional. The listing states 10kg and supplied as a set.

Ideal for

Think home gyms building a usable weight range, and pressing, rowing and accessory work across every level. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Before you install it

Check the handle diameter and knurl. Grip comfort decides whether a set actually gets used for higher-rep work.

Choosing the right one

Rubber or urethane coating protects flooring and reduces noise compared to bare cast iron.

Priced at R500, it is the 29th of 118 dumbbells we list (R70 to R90 612). Worth comparing before you settle.

Check that heads stay tight on the handles, particularly on lower-cost sets, and keep them off concrete where possible.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty dumbbells is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.

Delivery across South Africa is included on every order. Larger items are booked in rather than left at a door, so tell us about stairs, narrow passages or a restricted loading area when you order and we will arrange transport that suits the site.
