G1m Plus Smart Spin Bike

The G1m Plus Smart Spin Bike is one of the exercise bikes options we supply to gyms and home setups across South Africa, made by Yesoul. Here is what it does and who it suits.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a exercise bike for people who train consistently. Where a measurement matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.

Best suited to

It works best for spin studios and group classes, and low-impact cardio in a small footprint. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Fitting it into your space

Confirm the footprint and leave room to mount and dismount either side. Spin bikes need less space than most cardio equipment, which is part of their appeal.

Points to weigh up

Check the adjustment range on saddle and bars. A bike that fits several riders is worth more in a shared space.

Against the other 44 exercise bikes we stock, this sits in the middle at R21 896 — the range runs R689 to R47 740, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

Saddle comfort is the most common complaint and the easiest thing to change — most bikes take a standard post.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Browsing options? Sale, Cardio, Exercise Bikes and Rowing Machines are the categories most people compare this against.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.
