Impulse Ecp201 Chest Press Machine

If you are putting together a space that has to work every day rather than look good once, the Impulse Ecp201 Chest Press Machine is worth a close look. It comes from Impulse Fitness and forms part of our strength machines lineup.

What you are getting is a strength machine designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Who it suits

This one suits isolating a muscle group safely under load, and gyms training members who are new to free weights. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Getting it in place

Plan the position with traffic flow in mind. Members should be able to reach the machine without crossing a lifting area.

Before you decide

Match the weight stack to who will use it. A stack that tops out too low limits stronger members; one that starts too high excludes beginners.

We stock 210 strength machines between R1 120 and R49 665; this one is in the middle at R38 780.

Upholstery and grips wear first on commercial floors. Both are usually replaceable without changing the machine.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Key points

• Brand: Impulse Fitness
• Category: Commercial Strength
• SKU: ECP201
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Strength, Free Weights, Weight Plates and Commercial Strength are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Impulse Ecp201 Chest Press Machine checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
