Impulse Fitness Elliptical Re970

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Impulse Fitness Elliptical Re970 is built to do exactly that. Made by Impulse Fitness, it sits in our elliptical trainers range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

What you are getting is a elliptical trainer designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Ideal for

This one suits rehab and steady-state work, and home gyms wanting one machine to cover cardio. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Before you install it

Plan where it will live before it arrives — moving equipment after the fact is harder than it sounds.

Choosing the right one

Match the specification to how often it will actually be used. Home and commercial duty ratings are genuinely different things.

We stock 8 elliptical trainers between R13 388 and R68 950; this one is at the upper end at R56 595.

Wipe surfaces down after use — sweat is corrosive and is what shortens the life of most gym equipment.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

At a glance

• Brand: Impulse Fitness
• Category: Elliptical Trainers
• SKU: RE970
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

You will find related equipment under Cardio, Elliptical Trainers, Treadmills and Gym Flooring — worth a look before deciding.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty elliptical trainers is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.
