Impulse Hc005 Climber

The Impulse Hc005 Climber is one of the steppers options we supply to gyms and home setups across South Africa, made by Impulse. Here is what it does and who it suits.

In plain terms, this is a stepper intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

Best suited to

Think gyms wanting a cardio option that is not another treadmill, and glute and leg conditioning. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Fitting it into your space

Check the floor is level and suitable for the load, and leave working clearance around the equipment.

Points to weigh up

Check what is included in the box, and whether accessories are needed to get it working the way you want.

Priced at R32 120, it is the 3rd of 8 steppers we list (R3 796 to R93 596). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep it clean and check fixings periodically. Most equipment failures start as something loose rather than something broken.

On how much cardio is actually worth aiming for each week, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Useful details

• Brand: Impulse

• SKU: HC005
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

Browsing options? Cardio, Stair Climbers, Treadmills and Hiit are the categories most people compare this against.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Every order ships free anywhere in South Africa. For heavier pieces we confirm access and offloading before dispatch — worth flagging stairs or tight corners at the time of order rather than on the day.

Happy to help you compare the Impulse Hc005 Climber against the alternatives, or check it will go through your door. Just ask.
