Impulse It9506 Seated Leg Curl – 90kg (200lbs)

Every gym has a piece of kit that quietly does most of the work. For a lot of setups the Impulse It9506 Seated Leg Curl – 90kg (200lbs) is that piece, and Impulse Fitness built it for the job.

In plain terms, this is a strength machine intended for regular use rather than occasional. The listing states 90kg.

A good fit for

Think gyms training members who are new to free weights, and commercial floors needing guided, repeatable movement. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Setup notes

Check the delivery route carefully. Strength machines are heavy and awkward, and access is usually the constraint rather than the room itself.

Worth thinking about

Cables, pulleys and guide rods are the wear parts. Check they are replaceable and that spares are available locally.

Priced at R36 318, it is the 192nd of 210 strength machines we list (R1 120 to R49 665). Worth comparing before you settle.

Keep guide rods clean and lightly lubricated, and check cables for fraying on a schedule. Cable failure under load is the risk worth preventing.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.
