Impulse Itf8201 3-WAY Olympic Bench

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the Impulse Itf8201 3-WAY Olympic Bench is built to do exactly that. Made by Impulse, it sits in our benches range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

What you are getting is a bench designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

Ideal for

This one suits commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use, and garage gyms building around a rack. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Before you install it

Allow space to move the bench in and out if it is shared between a rack and a dumbbell area.

Choosing the right one

Pad width and firmness matter more than they sound. Too soft and you lose stability under load; too narrow and shoulder position suffers on heavy presses.

We stock 210 benches between R1 120 and R49 665; this one is in the middle at R21 535.

Check the fixings periodically. Adjustable benches work loose over time and a few minutes with a spanner keeps everything solid.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

If you want the Impulse Itf8201 3-WAY Olympic Bench checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
