Olympic Storage Strip

Every gym has a piece of kit that quietly does most of the work. For a lot of setups the Olympic Storage Strip is that piece.

What you are getting is a storage rack designed to be used properly and often. The images and title carry the detail we publish for this unit.

A good fit for

This one suits home gyms short on space, and commercial gyms where equipment gets left out. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Setup notes

Plan where it will live before it arrives — moving equipment after the fact is harder than it sounds.

Worth thinking about

Match the specification to how often it will actually be used. Home and commercial duty ratings are genuinely different things.

We stock 3 storage racks between R1 161 and R1 341; this one is at the upper end at R1 341.

Wipe surfaces down after use — sweat is corrosive and is what shortens the life of most gym equipment.

If staff will be moving this regularly, the HSE's guide to manual handling at work is worth reading first.

Details worth knowing

• Category: Free Weights
• SKU: USRV-10
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

If you are planning a full setup, Free Weights, Dumbbells, Weight Plates and Gym Flooring are the sections that usually go with this.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.

Every order ships free anywhere in South Africa. For heavier pieces we confirm access and offloading before dispatch — worth flagging stairs or tight corners at the time of order rather than on the day.

If you want the Olympic Storage Strip checked against your setup before you commit, get in touch. We would rather spend five minutes on measurements than arrange a return.
