Performance-Seated Leg Curl(140kg)

Choosing gym equipment comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The Performance-Seated Leg Curl(140kg), from Performance, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a piece of gym equipment for people who train consistently. Stated details include 140kg.

Who this is for

It works best for training spaces that get daily use. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Installation and space

Measure the space and the route in before ordering. Doorways, corners and stairs are what turn a straightforward delivery into a problem.

What to consider

Think about who will use it and their size range. Adjustability decides how many people find it comfortable.

Against the other 267 gym equipment we stock, this sits in the middle at R32 287 — the range runs R401 to R163 098, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

Store or cover it if the space is damp, particularly for anything with a steel frame.

For what regular training actually does for you long term, the NHS summary of the health benefits of exercise covers the evidence plainly.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty gym equipment is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.

Delivery across South Africa is included on every order. Larger items are booked in rather than left at a door, so tell us about stairs, narrow passages or a restricted loading area when you order and we will arrange transport that suits the site.
