UBench CPU Straight Barbell 35kg

Good training equipment earns its floor space, and the UBench CPU Straight Barbell 35kg is built to do exactly that. Made by UBench, it sits in our benches range for South African home gyms, studios and commercial floors.

What you are getting is a bench designed to be used properly and often. It is listed with 35kg.

Ideal for

This one suits commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use, and garage gyms building around a rack. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Before you install it

Allow space to move the bench in and out if it is shared between a rack and a dumbbell area.

Choosing the right one

Pad width and firmness matter more than they sound. Too soft and you lose stability under load; too narrow and shoulder position suffers on heavy presses.

We stock 68 benches between R238 and R8 599; this one is in the middle at R3 870.

Check the fixings periodically. Adjustable benches work loose over time and a few minutes with a spanner keeps everything solid.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty benches is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.
