UBench Hack Slite

Choosing benches comes down to matching the equipment to how hard it will actually be worked. The UBench Hack Slite, from UBench, is aimed at people who want something that holds up.

Stripped of marketing language: this is a bench for people who train consistently. Where a measurement matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.

Who this is for

It works best for pressing, rowing and accessory work at home or in a facility, and commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use. Outside that, there may be a better match in the range — ask us.

Installation and space

Check the footprint against your rack and platform. A bench needs room to load and unload plates either side, not just space for the frame itself.

What to consider

Look at the frame gauge and the welds rather than the upholstery. That is what carries the load, and it is what separates a home bench from a commercial one.

Against the other 267 benches we stock, this sits in the middle at R40 587 — the range runs R401 to R163 098, so there is room to move either way if the fit is not right.

Rubber feet protect flooring and stop the bench walking during heavy sets — worth checking they are intact.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.
