UBench IPectoral Fly

Every gym has a piece of kit that quietly does most of the work. For a lot of setups the UBench IPectoral Fly is that piece, and UBench built it for the job.

In plain terms, this is a bench intended for regular use rather than occasional. Full specifications are shown on this page and in the product images.

A good fit for

Think garage gyms building around a rack, and pressing, rowing and accessory work at home or in a facility. Those are the situations where this piece makes the most sense.

Setup notes

Confirm the pad height against your rack J-hooks. A mismatch there changes the press position and is awkward to work around later.

Worth thinking about

If the bench adjusts, check how easily the ladder or pop-pin moves under load, and how many positions it actually offers between flat and upright.

Priced at R40 587, it is the 222nd of 267 benches we list (R401 to R163 098). Worth comparing before you settle.

Wipe the upholstery down after sessions. Sweat is what degrades vinyl, and a torn pad is the usual reason a bench gets replaced before its frame is worn.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Details worth knowing

• Brand: UBench
• Category: Strength
• SKU: EPS-01
• Condition: new unless the listing states otherwise

You will find related equipment under Strength, Benches, Racks And Cages and Dumbbells — worth a look before deciding.

The practical gap between light and heavy-duty benches is not the badge, it is the rating: frame gauge, bearing quality and how easily wear parts can be replaced. Buying slightly above your current needs is almost always cheaper than replacing early.
