UBench Multi-Functional Trainer(200kg Weight Stack)

If you are putting together a space that has to work every day rather than look good once, the UBench Multi-Functional Trainer(200kg Weight Stack) is worth a close look. It comes from UBench and forms part of our benches lineup.

What you are getting is a bench designed to be used properly and often. It is listed with 200kg.

Who it suits

This one suits commercial floors needing benches that survive daily use, and garage gyms building around a rack. If that describes your setup, it will earn its place.

Getting it in place

Allow space to move the bench in and out if it is shared between a rack and a dumbbell area.

Before you decide

Pad width and firmness matter more than they sound. Too soft and you lose stability under load; too narrow and shoulder position suffers on heavy presses.

We stock 30 benches between R23 236 and R152 303; this one is in the middle at R37 267.

Check the fixings periodically. Adjustable benches work loose over time and a few minutes with a spanner keeps everything solid.

For context on how often adults should be training muscle groups, the World Health Organization physical activity guidelines are a sensible, independent starting point.

Commercial and home equipment differ mainly in duty cycle — how many hours a day the frame, bearings and upholstery are designed to take. Equipment built for occasional use will usually survive a home routine comfortably but will not last on a busy floor, and the difference shows in the parts you cannot see rather than the finish.
